Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes

Gestational diabetes affects between 12% and 14% of pregnant women, usually occurring between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy. It typically disappears after the baby is born.

If you are diagnosed with gestational diabetes, we can help you manage the condition alongside your doctor or specialist. In most cases, some changes to your diet and exercise regime will suffice; sometimes, medication is also needed. Along the way, it is important to monitor your blood glucose levels – we can help you with this, too.
